Currently, Botaura does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or invasive third-party analytics systems.

We do not sell your business data or your customers' data to third parties.
Data is securely stored using encrypted PostgreSQL infrastructure.
Uploaded files are protected using Cloudflare R2 secure storage.
Authentication is handled through Clerk. Passwords are never stored directly by Botaura.
All traffic between users and our platform is encrypted using HTTPS.
• Chat history and leads are stored while your account remains active.
• WhatsApp conversation history is retained only as long as needed to operate your chatbot.
• Deleted accounts are permanently removed within 30 days.

Applicable to Starter & Pro plans
• Starter and Pro plan users may connect their WhatsApp Business number to Botaura via the WhatsApp Business API (Meta).
• When connected, customer messages sent to your WhatsApp number are processed by Botaura solely to generate AI-powered responses on your behalf.
• WhatsApp conversation data is stored only as long as necessary to provide chatbot functionality and is never shared with unrelated third parties.
• Botaura acts as a data processor on behalf of your business. You, as the business owner, are the data controller and are responsible for obtaining proper customer consent before initiating or automating WhatsApp conversations.
• WhatsApp phone numbers are used only as session identifiers to maintain conversation context. They are not used for any marketing or unrelated purposes by Botaura.
• For Meta's own data practices, please refer to the WhatsApp Privacy Policy.
